 | Who are we? The doors of Avalon creaked open for the first time on the 25th
June 1988, and the sun did verily shine! Founded by the crusading
spirit that is Bruce and Margaret Hawkins, the games did commence, comics were
sold and joy was issued unto the world. Shortly thereafter Mark
Perry began as Saturday help, until that fateful day in 1991 when he
became a full-time member of staff, forging the team that serves
you today for a better tomorrow... |

 | How to find us: We are situated on Lavender Hill, Battersea, within the parade of shops
between Sugden Road and Thirsk Road. Two landmarks which are almost opposite
our shop are are 'The Battersea Art Centre' and a large red-bricked church
